The Multi-Level Deferred Accounts module offers a significant enhancement to standard deferred revenue and expense management capabilities. While typically uses a single, global account for all deferrals, this module provides the flexibility to assign distinct deferred accounts at a more granular level. You can now configure specific deferred revenue and expense accounts directly on individual products or even on specific invoice lines. This allows for a more precise and automated accounting workflow, ensuring that your financial statements accurately reflect the deferred revenue and expenses associated with different products or services.
Product-Specific Deferred Accounts: Assign unique deferred revenue and expense accounts directly on the product form.
Invoice Line Customization: Override default settings by selecting a specific deferred account for individual invoice or bill lines.
Intelligent Account Prioritization: The system automatically uses the most specific account available, starting from the invoice line, then the product, and finally reverting to the company-wide default.

Deferred revenue or expense accounts can also be configured per product, automatically applied upon selection. If none is specified, the default from Accounting settings applies.
